About Me

My name is Matt and I am a freelance photographer/videographer based out of Southern California.

My love for music and the aesthetics of live performances is what opened the door for me in terms of photography and videography. I am also the co-founder/photographer for the publication "Concert Crap."

My time in Los Angeles' and Orange County's music scenes made me realize there was and still is a dire need for professional and sophisticated media, whether it be photos, video, animations, press releases or marketing management.

This "need" is what lead me to bring my brand "Shots By Matt" to life.

My mission is to help bands, brands and other miscellaneous clients reach their true and highest potential by creating stunning, unique and professional media as well as advising them on how to use this media to optimize their online presence.

I am always looking to expand my client list. My past clients include Emo Nite LA, Whitney Peyton and Suicide Silence. I am currently looking to extend that same service to both upcoming and established acts of all genres and forms.

Downtime for photo delivery after completion of the shoot/project is approximately 3-5 days following completion of the shoot and up to 2-4 weeks for video. Downtime may vary depending on project and my current workload.
